Delete your data

How to remove anything Brim might know about you. Spoiler: it's all on your device.

The fastest path All your Brim data lives on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently removes every byte — there's nothing for us to delete on a server, because we don't have one.

1. Delete your data directly

Brim has no servers and no accounts. Your profile inputs (gender, weight, age, activity), your daily hydration history, and your settings all live in a private SQLite database on the device itself. To delete everything:

iOS

  • Long-press the Brim icon on your home screen.
  • Tap Remove AppDelete App.

That permanently removes every piece of data Brim stored.

Android

  • Quickest: long-press the Brim icon → Uninstall.
  • Or, to clear data while keeping the app: Settings → Apps → Brim → Storage & cache → Clear storage.

2. Submit a formal request

If you would still like to file a formal data-deletion request — for example to satisfy GDPR, CCPA, or internal record-keeping — you can email us using the form below. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.

This opens your email app pre-filled to privacy@neuroapp.dev. If your device doesn't open a mail client, write to that address directly with "Data deletion request" in the subject.

What we will delete on our side

Because we do not collect personal data from the app, our typical response is to confirm to you that we hold none. If you have previously emailed us (for support or feedback), we will purge that email thread from our inbox and any backups within 30 days of your request.

What we cannot delete

We cannot delete data held by third parties on your behalf — for example, the install record on Google Play or the App Store, or server logs maintained by Firebase Hosting for this website (typically retained ~90 days for security purposes). To remove those:

  • Google Play / App Store install records: manage in your Google Play account at play.google.com/library or your Apple account.
  • Website logs: these are Google Firebase Hosting access logs, retained per Google's privacy policy. They contain only your IP address and the pages you visited.
